1. What WorthScale Is
WorthScale is a free personal finance tracking tool. It provides:
- A dashboard to track net worth, assets, liabilities, goals, and insurance
- Financial calculators (net worth, emergency fund, down payment)
- Educational blog content about personal finance
WorthScale is an informational and organizational tool. It is not a financial advisor, investment platform, banking service, or licensed financial institution.
2. Not Financial Advice
All content, calculators, insights, and recommendations provided by WorthScale are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
You should consult with qualified financial professionals before making investment decisions, tax planning, or other financial commitments. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information provided by the Service.
3. Your Account
To use the dashboard, you provide a name and email address. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
4. Your Data
You own your data. All financial information you enter belongs to you. We store it to provide cloud sync functionality. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
You can delete your data at any time through the dashboard or by contacting us.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
6. Accuracy of Information
The Service relies on data you manually enter. We do not verify the accuracy of your financial information. Calculations are based on the data you provide and standard financial formulas.
Calculator results are estimates and should not be relied upon as exact figures. Market conditions, interest rates, and other factors can affect actual outcomes.
7. Availability
We aim to keep WorthScale available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Maintenance and updates
- Technical issues
- Third-party service disruptions (Firebase, Vercel)
8. Free Service
WorthScale is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, but any existing free features will remain free.
9. Limitation of Liability
WorthScale is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from use of the Service
- We are not liable for data loss (though we take reasonable steps to prevent it)
- We are not liable for inaccuracies in calculations or content
- Our total liability is limited to ₹0 (the amount you paid for the Service)
10. Intellectual Property
The WorthScale name, logo, design, code, and content are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service without permission.
User-generated content (your financial data) remains your property.
11. Termination
You can stop using WorthScale at any time by clearing your data and closing the browser. We may also terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
14. Advertising
WorthScale may display third-party advertisements on public pages (blog posts, calculators, informational pages) via Google AdSense. By using the Service, you agree that such advertisements may be displayed. The dashboard experience is ad-free.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party advertisements. Clicking on advertisements is at your own risk.
